250 grams of cake or biscuit (this can be fresh or stale) crushed with a rolling pin

One tablespoon golden syrup (look at the Tate and Lyle tin)

30gm of Sugar

100gm Butter
Judges 5:25 He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish

Melt the golden syrup, sugar and butter in a mixing bowl over boiling water or a saucepan

Grate 300gm Cooking Chocolate (150gm dark and 150gm milk)

75gm dried fruit (plus 100gm dried chopped apricots, if desired)

Mix well together

Grease a loose bottomed 6–7inch tin

Press the mixture down into the tin

Leave overnight in a fridge.

Turn out by pushing up the bottom of the cake tin.
